If you have spent your life being the strong one

You take care of everyone. Who takes care of you?

So much of what you carry is invisible, because you were taught to carry it quietly and never make it anyone else's problem.

You are the one everyone leans on, and you have no one to lean on.

You learned early that your needs come last, after everyone else's.

You say you are fine, because being fine is what is expected of you.

You carry guilt for wanting more than the role you were handed.

You are tired in a way that sleep does not seem to touch.

No one has asked what you want in so long that you stopped asking yourself.

Putting yourself first for one hour a week is not selfish. It is how you keep being able to show up for the people you love.

What we work through together

The things you have been holding on your own

The weight of being the strong oneAlways holding it together, with no space to fall apart.
Family and marriage expectationsThe roles of daughter, wife, mother, and bahu, and what each one asks of you.
Guilt and putting yourself lastThe pull to keep everyone else happy, even when it empties you out.
Identity between cultures and generationsBeing enough for your family and true to yourself at the same time.
Boundaries without losing the familyHolding your own ground while honouring the people you love and your sense of izzat.
Burnout and quiet exhaustionThe tiredness no one sees because you never let it show.
Self-worth beyond your rolesRemembering who you are underneath everything you do for everyone.
Big life transitionsMarriage, motherhood, moving, loss, and the seasons that ask a lot of you.

You are allowed to need support too

How therapy works here

A space where you do not have to be strong

For one hour, you are not managing anyone else. You are not the fixer or the peacemaker. You are simply allowed to be heard.

This space is just for you

Not somewhere you hold everyone else together. Here the focus is you, what you carry, and what you need.

We understand the roles you carry

The good daughter, the dutiful wife, the bahu, the mother who holds it all. We understand what each of those costs.

Grounded in real methods

Our clinicians draw on CBT, EMDR, ACT, and IFS, all delivered with cultural and faith sensitivity. The approach is matched to you.

Private and fully virtual

Meet from anywhere in Ontario, from a place where you feel safe. Sessions are held in confidence within the limits set by Ontario law and the CRPO.

Why a culturally grounded space matters

You will not have to explain why you cannot just put yourself first, or what it means to be the good daughter, the good wife, the good bahu.

Generic advice to set boundaries with your family can miss everything about how love, duty, and izzat actually work in a South Asian home. Here you start from being understood. Your family, your faith, and your culture are the context we begin with, not something you have to defend.

Built for women like you

South Asian · Faith Sensitive · Women Aware

Inaya Care was built for the South Asian community by people who understand the lives South Asian women actually lead. You will not be handed advice to simply set boundaries. You will be met by someone who understands what those boundaries cost, and who makes room for your faith and your family rather than asking you to choose against them.

You do not need the right words, and you do not need it all figured out. Share as much or as little as feels right, and someone on our team will reach out to you gently, usually within one business day.

We will only use your details to reach out about how we can support you. If you would rather book straight away, you can do that here.

Questions women often ask

The things you might be wondering

If you would feel more comfortable with a woman, let us know and we will do our best to match you with a female clinician. What matters most is that you feel safe and understood.

Not at all. You do not need to be in crisis to deserve support. Feeling stretched thin, unseen, or just not like yourself is reason enough to reach out.

Yes. Inaya Care was built by and for the South Asian community. You will not have to explain the good daughter, the dutiful bahu, or why you cannot simply put yourself first. We start from understanding that.

You do not need anyone's permission to care for yourself. Sessions are virtual and private, so you can attend from wherever you feel comfortable, and what you share is kept confidential within the limits set by Ontario law and the CRPO.

Your sessions are private and held in confidence, within the limits set by Ontario law and our regulatory college, the CRPO. We explain those limits clearly before you begin.
